Mount Pisgah State Park

Named for the Biblical mountain from which one might glimpse the future. The 1,302-acre park encompasses Stephen Foster Lake, named for the famous composer of the 1800's. This lovely little park is filled with year round outdoor activities for everyone. Mt. Pisgah is a great place for picnicking. There are several barbecue grills around the park and also pavilions. The park also has several trails for hiking and a swimming pool. The pool opens on Memorial Day weekend. The park also has boats, canoes, and paddle boats which can be rented. In the winter, visitors may ice fish, hunt and ice skate. Cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are permitted on designated trails.
