Settlement House

Settlement House was founded in 2001 by Connie M. Sickler as an outlet to sell her limited edition prints and promote other Pennsylvania artisans. Located in Settlement Post and Beam's beautiful timber frame showhome, Settlement House is not only a creative environment, but also a creative use of space. Today Settlement House serves as an art studio, timber frame showhome and a beautiful storefront for art lovers of all ages. Guests are invited to shop the works of over 50 juried PA and NY artisans. The Pennsylvania Artisan Trail recognizes Settlement House as an official stop on their Route 6 trail.  We were also recently given a nod in Malerie Yolen-Cohen's new book, Stay on Route 6. In an effort to encourage local artists in their creative journey Connie charges just enough consignment fee to keep her lights on, gardens maintained and watercolors stocked. We assure you, when you buy a piece of work from Settlement House you are helping support someone's creative passion.
