October 29, 1978, we reopened as Allen F. Pierce Free Library in our present location attached to the Borough building one of Troy’s oldest buildings. An addition in May 1995 brought enough room for our computer lab, more bookshelves and room for study and relaxation.
Alparon Park is home of the Troy Fair. It is a great place for camping. There are on site tennis and basketball courts, wireless internet, and winter storage. It is available for rental for auctions, events, horse shows, company or family picnics, RV rallies, and more.

Back Hills Angus was originally a dairy farm until 2004. They changed because they wanted to provide organic, delicious Angus meat to the community. They offer frozen black Angus meat by the pound. If you wish to fill your freezer they also sell by the 1/4, 1/2, or whole. They raise their animals with no antibiotics or hormones. They are only fed grass and corn grown on the very same farm.

On our farm we raise grass fed Hereford cattle, Tamworth hogs, Boer goats and pastured poultry and rabbits. Our large organic garden and orchard produce an abundance of fruits and vegetables. In July and August you can pick your own unsprayed wild blueberries. Late winter you can join us in collecting sap from our maple trees and boiling it in our evaporator into maple syrup.

Home to the Bradford County Farm Museum and Historic Village. The Farm Museum includes an extensive collection of rare farm implements, tools, and artifacts reflecting 200 years of the local agricultural heritage. The village consists of the Gregory Inn/Mitchell House - built c1822 for stagecoach travelers; Sugar Shack, Carriage House - containing the largest collection of carriages, wagons, and sleighs in the Norther Tier; Children's Church; Thomas School House; and Barbershop.
The Bradford County Historical Society museum and research library are located in the former county jail. Exhibits are arranged throughout two floors of the building in what were jail cells. Each cell depicts an era of county history. A genealogical research library is located on the second floor.
