Round Top Park

A 575-acre park with playground equipment, horseshoe pits, volleyball court, fishing pond, hunting, hiking trails, off road vehicle trail, sledding and cross country skiing (weather permitting) and a model airplane field. Round Top Park also has several pavilions (that may be reserved for a fee), with grills, water and electric service. The park is a great place for family picnics, reunions and sightseeing. Round Top Park has one of the best overlooks in Pennsylvania.

Mount Pisgah County Park

Take a peak at the highest point in Bradford County! Mt. Pisgah County Park offers fantastic scenic overlooks of the Endless Mountains Region. The park's rich history and trails make it a great place to visit. A pavilion is available for picnics and large gatherings.

Larnard-Hornbrook County Park

This park is located along the Susquehanna River in Sheshequin Township. It resides on 30 acres and offers 40 RV sites with water and electric hook-ups and a tenting area. There are also shower and restroom facilities as well as four pavilions. There are lots of open areas to enjoy, a ball field, volleyball net, and boat launch.

Mount Pisgah State Park

Named for the Biblical mountain from which one might glimpse the future. The 1,302-acre park encompasses Stephen Foster Lake, named for the famous composer of the 1800's. This lovely little park is filled with year round outdoor activities for everyone. Mt. Pisgah is a great place for picnicking. There are several barbecue grills around the park and also pavilions. The park also has several trails for hiking and a swimming pool. The pool opens on Memorial Day weekend. The park also has boats, canoes, and paddle boats which can be rented.

Marie Antoinette Lookout

The Marie Antoinette Lookout is and overlook located just off of US Route 6 near Wyalusing in Pennsylvania. It offers a scenic view of the Susquehanna River, the mountains, the French Azilum, and a French refugee settlement that was built sometime in the late 1700s or early 1800s. Between 1793 and 1803, French refugees established a settlement in the area. That settlement is now known as the French Azilum Historic Site. It is said that Marie Antoinette planned to settle here.

Towanda Country Club

Located in the heart of the Endless Mountains, the Towanda Country Club is considered one of the finest in the area. The club opened as a nine hole course in 1925 and was expanded to eighteen holes in 1969 thanks to the generosity of Ed and Mary Strickland. The public is always welcomed at this semi-private club located in Towanda, Pennsylvania.

Alparon Community Park

Alparon Park is home of the Troy Fair. It is a great place for camping.  There are on site tennis and basketball courts, wireless internet, and winter storage.  It is available for rental for auctions, events, horse shows, company or family picnics, RV rallies, and more.

Austin Snyder Elementary School

H. Austin Snyder Elementary School is the creation of its namesake, the beloved former Superintendent, H. Austin Snyder, who served Sayre Area School District from 1946 to 1976. The building was constructed in 1973 to consolidate the numerous small elementary schools within Sayre and to provide the most flexible classroom environment for implementing a variety of effective instructional techniques used at the time and those yet to be discovered. H. Austin Snyder is a flexible or open space school with grade level pods arranged around a central library/media center.
