Join Endless Mountains Heritage Region on its first of four Small Business Support Hikes in which we support our local businesses! This two-day hike will be on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Mt. Pisgah County Park (2181 Wilcox Drive, Troy, PA 16947) and will lead participants from the county park to the state park on several combined trails throughout each park. Check-in for this event begins at 12 p.m. at the top of the county park (41.8101943, -76.7164631).
Saturday’s hiking mileage will be approximately 7 miles, combining the Ridge Trail (trail that connects the county and state parks) along with smaller trails off the Oh! Susanna Trail. The Ridge Trail is considered moderate.
Hikers have the option of resting after the day hike, visiting the local area, or joining us for a night hike as well under the full moon Saturday evening. Overnight supplies are also needed to camp: a tent, sleeping bag, flashlights, etc.
Sunday’s adventure will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the same location, connecting the Ridge Trail again with the Mill Stream Trail, which is approximately 6 miles of easy to moderate hiking.
Participants will be responsible for lunch or snacks for the trails, but Saturday’s dinner at approximately 5:30 p.m. will be provided in the cost to help support a local business in the Troy community. The $10 cost will cover dinner and camping at the county park. To register for this event, please go to www.emheritage.org/events.
