October is the month of leaf-peeping in Pennsylvania! Join the Endless Mountains Heritage Region on Saturday, Oct. 11, for a leaf-peeping free pop-up day hike at Mt. Pisgah State Park, located between Troy and Towanda. We will meet at the pavilion on Stephen Foster Lake (41.8045408, -76.6662854), right by the playground and pool. We will meet at 1 p.m. for an approximate 4-mile hike combining the Oh! Susanna and Mill Stream Trails within the State Park, and do a figure eight loop. Difficulty level for this hike is considered easy to moderate with these trails.
