Wyalusing Rocks, also known as Prayer Rocks, has lead people to it for as long as we have documented history. It was an important point in native american cultures for it was a high point overlooking a stunning horseshoe bend in the Susquehanna, and a high point from which signals from Indian tribes could be seen for miles. Wyalusing Public Library was built in 1902 by Mr. Frank Welles. It has a rich history in its beautiful interior and welcoming atmosphere. French Azilum is the site of a planned settlement along the Susquehanna River built for refugees fleeing the French Revolution.
